Hydraulic lines must be regularly serviced or replaced. In case of failure of the hydraulic hose it can happen that they burst. For people who are working close, this is a life-threatening danger.
Damaged hydraulic lines can spurt hot oil. To avoid such injuries caused by hot oil HellermannTyton developed the HEGWS Burst Protection Sleeving. The HEGWS Burst Protection Sleeving is made of polyamide, is extremely durable and provides excellent protection against abrasion. In addition, the requirements for safety systems for earth moving machinery according to DIN EN ISO 3457 and mechanical vibrations and jolts according to DIN EN 1299 are met.
